Wesley House Campus Ministry
The mission of the Wesley Campus Ministry at Ferris State University is to “Create a safe and comfortable environment for Ferris State University students to socialize and discuss everyday student life and the mission of the Christian Church.”
As of July 1, the Wesley House has a new director, Kimberly Bos. The Wesley House offers a place for fellowship, worship and food! There is also a student food pantry for those who struggle with food insufficiency. Your giving is an investment in the lives of young people. Thank you!
For more information visit their website click here or their Face Book page “Big Rapids Wesley House”.
The Northern Waters District is committed to support the Ferris State Wesley House. The students support us also and are visible at all of our HUB gatherings.
Introducing the new 2019 Mission PROGRAM
Dear Michigan Conference Church Leaders,
Engagemi is the new Mission Engagement Program for the Michigan Conference. Beginning January 1, 2019, the Engagemi Program will take the place of Detroit Conference’s Spotlight Church Program and West Michigan Conference’s Six Lanes Giving Program.
Each of these resources are designed to help your congregation transition to the new Engagemi Program. The Engagemi Booklet is the primary resource, providing an overall introduction and description of the new program. The Engagemi Frequently Asked Questions is short summary of the most important information. Please feel free to contact any of the Engagemi Ambassadors in your district for assistance in navigating the new program. The Engagemi District Presentations will provide an opportunity for you and other congregational mission leaders to learn about the new program and network with each other.
Throughout the remainder of 2018, please continue to use the Spotlight Church and Six Lanes Programs for your mission giving. If you need a copy of those resources, they can be found online here.
The most up-to-date Engagemi information is always available at online. Please feel free to call or email me directly if you have any questions or concerns.
Blessings and Peace,
The Rev. Paul Perez
